Evergreen is located in the University Heights Suburban Development Area in Saskatoon, and is currently under construction. Once construction is complete, it will be the densest area in the city with 8.6 units per acre. According to MLS listings, as of 2016, the average amount for a house was $503,229.
The area was named after two Scots Pine trees that have been planted in the area and are over 50 years old. Once construction is complete, Evergreen will be the first area in the city that will be the first large scale installation of LED street lights.
